Booking a Wandering Aengus Treks Holiday

How to book

If you are looking to book one of our standard itineraries, go to the relevant trip page and click the button above the map. You can access the individual trip pages through the main menu at the top of any page, or via the index pages for the Lake District, or for our tours on Long Distance Paths (LDPs)

If you have been speaking to us about a bespoke walking tour and we have given you a 'trip code', you can access the booking form here.

Please complete all fields on the booking form. If you have any flexibility with your start date, please let us know how many days before and/or how many days after your preferred date you would be able to start. This can be very helpful, particularly if making a late booking or one for a peak time, when availability may be limited. You can use the text box on the form to let us know of any special requirements you may have. Don't forget to let us know of any dietary requirements as we pass these on to your accommodations.

We require a deposit of £150 per person at the time of booking. If you are booking as a solo walker the deposit will be £300. Once you have submitted your booking form, you will be directed to the Wandering Aengus Treks' page on Paypal's website to make your payment securely online. You can pay with a debit or credit card, or from a Paypal account if you have one. If you prefer, you can also call us on 016974 78443 to make your payment over the telephone.

Once we have received your booking form and deposit, we will make all the arrangements for your holiday and confirm these to you as soon as possible. This process normally takes two or three working days but occasionally can be longer. If we encounter issues with availability of accommodation for your chosen holiday, we will contact you to discuss your options. If we cannot provide a tour with which you are satisfied, we will refund your deposit.

Holiday Insurance

Your deposit is used to secure your accommodation and, once we have confirmed the holiday to you, is generally not recoverable if you subsequently have to cancel your holiday (for example on medical grounds). We strongly recommend that you take out suitable holiday insurance to cover this eventuality.

The strongest protection for your holiday payments

Wandering Aengus Treks are fully compliant with the 'Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018'. In accordance with these regulations, all monies paid to Wandering Aengus Treks are held in trust by an independent authority until the completion of your holiday. Details of the reguations and the independent trustees are provided with your booking confirmation. In the highly unlikely event of our insolvency, getting your money back is a simple one-step process.
