Making your reservation

Private guiding and self-guided itineraries in the Lake District and on the major long distance trails in Northern England are available throughout the year.

You will be asked to pay a deposit of £150 when you make your booking. The balance is due one month prior to departure. Payments can be made online through PayPal using a credit or debit card.

Grade of walking tours
Easy: Walks of 4 - 7 miles with no steep climbs, mostly on well maintained trails.
Moderate grade walking holidays
Moderate: Walks of 6 - 10 miles, with typically around 2000 feet of ascent and up to 3000 feet , mostly on well maintained trails.
Demanding grade hiking
Demanding: Up to 15 miles and typically over 3000 feet of ascent on a mix of good trails, trackless moorland, and rocky ridges.
Strenuous mountain scrambles
Strenuous: Similar to 'Demanding' trips with hikes up to 15 miles and more than 3000 feet of ascent, but sustained over several days and with options for scrambling.
